These things are cheap, which is good, but of the three I ordered one failed to work at all. I expected this which is why I ordered one more than I needed.

I realize it says it is a Iphone 3G car charger but the iphone side of the charger does not hold a connection; it dislodges immediately after connecting it, bottom line, the connection does not work

Excellent price and works flawlessly!
If you are looking for a quality but inexpensive car charger for your iPhone or iPod, this is it! I've purchased two of these thus far, (one for me, then one for my mom) and have not been disappointment. These chargers are the real deal and for the price you may think, it's too go to be true, but from experience I can tell you first hand that it works, flawlessly. The plastic is solid and of great quality; not at all like those cheap chargers from those cell accessories vendors. I honestly was very impressed.

Buy it.
I own the black version if this. Works as described with iPhone 3G. The quality is pretty good (metal connectors, good build) for the price.

Although this has the right sized plug, it does not charge the Pre. Somehow the pre has done something proprietary, and this doesn't work with it.

let me PRE-empt you
This does not work with the PRE as others have stated...I plugged it into my cigarette lighter...and the outer ring of the plugin turns a yellow color so power is flowing...once I plug it into my PRE...NADA. I will be returning this ASAP.

So Far So Good!
When my son traded his DS in for a DSi, I found out that the DS car charger does not work with the DSi. There is a kit you can buy that allows for charging both in a car or a USB port but it cost more and all we needed was car charging.
We use it for long car rides or if we forget to charge his DSi, have to run out somewhere and he wants to play.
So far it has worked perfectly. What more can you say? It fits, it works and it charges.
Time will tell if it lasts.

DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
This product does not work. My 3GS iphone says it is not supported. I had to go to a store and buy a charger for $15 that would work. The salesman in the store said that the cheap chargers such as this one do not have the proper voltage regulation circuitry.
Many other customers have posted comments on similar chargers saying they do not work.
The product is priced this way, with a shipping cost that is more than the value of the product, so that dissatisfied customers have little incentive to return it. Great scam!

GREAT CAR KIT! PLAY YOUR MP3 PLAYER THROUGH YOUR CAR STEREO!
This car kit is fantastic! Listen to all your MP3 songs through your car speakers! I've owned it for 2 weeks and use it every single day with my Zune 120. Not once have I had any trouble with it! After I found a good "music-free" station to use for the signal on the first day, I haven't had to find another station at all! No bad spots, no skipping, and very little static between songs! The only negative would be that the cord to your MP-3 player is pretty short. Other than that I have no complaints. If your car lighter hook-up is in a tight or awkward space it may create issues, but mine is in a normal spot so I have no problems. I used it in my sister's 4X4 truck and because her lighter is in a weird place, it made it difficult to select songs on my Zune but it still worked great! The adjustable cradle is fantastic! I highly recommend this transmitter! Two thumbs up!

Works with iPhone 3GS
I bought this mainly for the car charger. I was worried about a generic charger working with the new iPhone 3GS, as it seems a lot of these aftermarket car chargers that are designed for older models aren't compatible due to the Firewire/USB pin issue, but for the price I couldn't pass up giving it a try. I received my chargers this morning - what was received was a bit different than pictured (plugs a little different in appearance) but all three seem to charge the phone just fine. I haven't used the car charger long enough to tell if the charge rate can keep up with the heavy battery usage of the GPS-dependent apps, but I'll be sure to update this review if I find that it doesn't.

Does not work with iPhone 3GS
I tried charging my iPhone 3GS with the car adapter this morning and the charger does not work on my phone. I have no idea if the product works on other devices.

Does not work with 3GS, but ...
I purchased this item from DB Roth and previously gave 2 stars because it was not compatible with 3GS phone. DB Roth contacted me immediately and offered full refund to resolve my dissatisfaction, noting that they had mistakenly listed it as 3GS compatible. Both the wall and car chargers as well as the USB cables work great with my iPod, and with the early 3G phone. While the product is a very good deal for these devices, what really impressed me is DB Roth's real commitment to customer satisfaction! There unprompted (other than my 2 star Amazon feedback) letter to me is worthwhile quoting ....

All the power you'll ever need
I ordered this pack about 2 months ago for my new Canon Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (Black) because I don't like being stuck with only one battery for something as important as my camera and didn't think a genuine Canon battery was really worth $45. So far I've used the charger with both AC and vehicle power in the United States as well as several places in Europe. The batteries have more capacity than the original Canon; I usually take at least 400 pictures before the battery meter gets too low, so with the 3 batteries you'll be completely covered unless you need to take more than 1500 pictures between recharging.

The products I received were actually "MaximalPower" brand, but specifications were otherwise identical, including the Europlug adapter, so it still gets 5 stars. The only problem I noticed with the charger is that since it also has a slot for an NB-7L, the top slot doesn't hold the LP-E5 batteries very securely. I actually had to bend one of the contacts slightly to keep it reliably connected to one of my batteries, but if you don't shake the charger around too much it shouldn't be a problem.

poor quality
This was very inexpensive, but figuring the quantities and the quality of the charger, I NOW know why. It took a long while to receive this, then to have it break almost immediately made it a bit stressful. Don't waste your time nor money, go to your cell carrier and buy a good one, like I ended up doing.

The Duracell Pocket Inverter 175 gives you power on-the-go. performs as advertised I bought this item a few months ago and I love it. Provides enough power to run my laptop and GPS at the same time (I have my GPS hooked up to the USB port and laptop hooked up to the AC port). I Have had no problem with it whatsoever. I would highly recommend it. Quality product. I just completed a 4500 mile road trip, and we used this invertor many hours each day to power a laptop running DVD movies for the kids (and their parents!). Operation was flawless: The unit doesn't get too hot, it's quiet, and supplied plenty of power. My only negative comment would be about the power button and power indicator light. The button could be more prominently marked and the light could be brighter; after all, this is made to be used in a car, where lighting is never ideal. Overall, though, the quality is excellent, especially compared to some other units that I looked at which appeared to have been made in someone's garage. I have a transmitter for my iphone that works very well, but I carry the bulk of my music on my Zune 120 GB. At first the unit seemed a little large for my little Zune, but I think the size really helps to keep the unit secure and protected. Here are the pros and cons as I see them: Pros: - The FM transmitter works VERY well. - The neck is adjustable so my passenger can flex the unit over towards them to hijack my music if necessary (Not sure if that is a pro or a con?) - The unit will automatically find a static free station for you - My Zune is safe and secure - My Zune is fully charged when I arrive at my destination Cons: - No off/on button. - Not CD quality, but no FM transmitter is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a Zune. Fantastic gizmo! So, here's a tip: this thing works for any audio device with a headphone jack, not just a Zune! I got mine this week, and it got its first test run today on a 2-hour trip to visit family. My Zune's on the fritz, so I experimented with plugging in my smaller Sansa e250, and it worked like a charm! If you look around, you'll find lots of people noting that FM transmitters never have sound as flawless as a CD. Now, if you're like me, you might've wondered just what the heck that means. What standards are they going by? Well, I'm not an audio snob. I just want to be able to hear my music clearly. I don't care if it sounds crystal-clear to a trained ear, and in a car there's always some ambient noise so as far as I'm concerned there's no sense worrying whether it's perfect anyway. I'm told that in major metropolitan areas where the airwaves are crowded, FM transmitters don't necessarily work very well, but I live in a rural/suburban area (central Pennsylvania), and for the majority of my trip, my music was clear as a bell. Circling a couple of more urban areas, I got a hint of static around the edges--nothing major, but a bit of spitting. I might've been able to find a channel with less interference, but I didn't bother trying to adjust to a clearer channel, since it never got very bad and I knew it wasn't going to last very long anyway. I don't know what the performance of other FM transmitters is like, but this one is a keeper! I am very satisfied! Disappointing I am an avid Zune user, and I have to say that I'm envious over the breath of accessories that is offered by companies supporting the iPod family of products. This product, when I read the description, was exactly what I was looking for, FM transmitter, holds my player, done! So, when I got the dock and opened the package, I was very disappointed to so that this wasn't a Zune specific product. It just comes with a shorter Zune USB connection. I guess this is good news if you want to use, say a Samsung player....but I don't. 1) The facts, the arm is too long to support the weight of a Zune120. I just flops over like you shot and killed the thing. 2) The FM transmitter, is ok...but it still is the worst possible connection you can use with a digital device. I was traveling, and had to constantly play with the radio settings. Hint, not something that should be done at 65 miles and hour. 3) Very disappointed that the Zune connection wasn't built into the base of the holder. Instead you have to hook-up the USN connection to keep charged (only way screen will stay lit) and you have to connect a ear phone plug to the player that goes to the FM transmitter. Wires everywhere! The bottom line, I got this unit to give me a clean solution for my beloved Zune120. What I got was a pole of wires banging all over my dash. I would love to say that this is the Zune accessory to own, but it is clearly not. Can someone please get Belkin and Griffen back in the Zune accessory business! I'm going to hope, and pray, that the ZuneHD bring some of the manufactures back.
